A car seat should always be replaced if any of the following conditions are met:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Activation of airbags or other safety systems:<\/strong> If any of the built-in safety systems have been activated or deployed during the accident.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Interior damage to the car:<\/strong> If there are visible damages inside the car caused by the collision.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Collision with larger animals:<\/strong> If the car seat has been involved in a collision with a larger animal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Repair costs exceeding 35,000 SEK:<\/strong> If the costs to repair damages related to the collision exceed 35,000 SEK.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If any of the above conditions are met we recommend getting in contact with your insurance company. The conditions above is a international recommendation developed by a national expert group for child safety in cars, SIS\/TK 242.
