Axkid has been successful in the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2021. The international jury have awarded Axkid ONE the distinction \u201cRed Dot\u201d, which stands for high design quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe winners of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2021 were particularly impressive this year. The design of their products is excellent, in terms of the aesthetics and the functionality. It is not easy to win over our judges and prevail in such a strong field of competitors. Almost 4 years of design and engineering work has been required to succeed with the uniqueness of the Axkid ONE. Hundreds of crash tests have been completed in order to by far meet today\u2019s safety regulations. Axkid ONE\u2019s unique design allows true rear-facing all the way up to approx. 6-7 years compared to all similar products that only go up to approx. 4 years of age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Almost 50 judges were once again true to their motto \u201cIn search of good design and innovation\u201d in the 2021 competition. The international panel of experts comprises specialists from a wide variety of sectors. They scrutinised the products entered in the competition in a process that spanned several days and were guided by assessment criteria such as the product\u2019s formal quality, ergonomics and longevity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We at Axkid are very proud and honoured that Axkid ONE once again is being acknowledge for it\u2019s unique design and it\u2019s boundary pushing difference that it has done for the car seat industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In order to appraise the diversity in the field of design in a professional manner, the Red Dot Design Award breaks down into the three disciplines of Red Dot Award: Product Design, Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design and Red Dot Award: Design Concept. With more than 18,000 entries, the Red Dot Award is one of the world\u2019s largest design competitions. In 1955, a jury convened for the first time to assess the best designs of the day. In the 1990s, Red Dot CEO Professor Dr. Peter Zec developed the name and brand of the award. Ever since, the sought-after distinction \u201cRed Dot\u201d has been the revered international seal of outstanding design quality. The award winners are presented in the yearbooks, museums and online. The Red Dot Design Yearbook 2021\/2022 comes out in August.
