Headrest update: 2cm longer back length

Axkid Minikid 2 is famous for being one of the car seats on the market allowing children to stay rear-faced for the longest. Now, with an updated headrest geometry, the back length increases by 2cm meaning the already long usage of the Axkid Minikid is now EVEN longer. Since rear-facing is proved to be up to five times safer we are more than happy to offer this extra safety for even longer.

High level of comfort and safety

The textile cover design has been updated throughout all colours and are now changed to a stretch material. This together with an easy button solution for the attachment of the textile helps you to a smooth change of the textile cover in case of a washing needed (which we know belongs to the common concept of parenting) 😉

The new updated textile cover gives the bestseller a better custom fit, improving the overall experience of the car seat due to a higher comfort.

The fitting has been improved for the smallest ones since the insert is changed to now be 10mm thicker. This accommodates even the smallest mini kids to have an optimal and safe position in the new Axkid Minikid 2 (2022/23) design.

Differences between Axkid Minikid 2 and Minikid 2 Premium?

As by the name, the main difference is the premium feeling of the Axkid Minikid 2 Premium. Apart from the obvious visual differences with colour matched headrest and customised details on zippers and buttons, let us talk about the premium comfort of the Axkid Minikid 2 Premium.

The Axkid Minikid 2 Premium comes with an additional padding in the premium textile cover. As a parent you can feel the difference in the two textiles but even more importantly it gives your child an extended level of comfort – a premium feeling for both you and your child.
