Usage & Adjustments

The infant insert is designed exclusively for the Axkid ONE 3 car seat to help smaller infants fit securely and comfortably.

• Must be used for infants weighing 2.3–5 kg (5–11 lb)
• Can be used up to 9 kg (20 lb) if it helps achieve a better fit
• Keep all parts attached as long as they provide a good fit
• Remove support wings only when your baby needs more space
• Remove the headrest pad if it feels too tight or pushes the head forward
• Stop using the insert above 9 kg (20 lb) or 61 cm (24 in)

Always use the insert with the Axkid ONE 3 toddler insert and the seat in the most reclined position.

How to Install the Infant Insert

The infant insert must be used together with the toddler insert included with the Axkid ONE 3 car seat.

Place the toddler insert in the car seat
Make sure the harness buckle is not covered.
Place the infant insert on top
Pull the harness buckle forward so it sits in front of the infant insert.
Position the harness
Make sure the harness straps sit on top of the insert and are not trapped behind it.

Important:
Always use the car seat in the most reclined position and keep the headrest and harness in the lowest position when using the infant insert. Never use the infant insert without the toddler insert.
