Black Week at Axkid: more time to choose the right seat

A car seat isn’t something you buy on impulse. That’s why we’re extending Black Friday from 2 November to 1 December, with Black Week as part of the period. That gives you time to compare models, check that the seat fits your car, and ask us if you’re unsure.

Our goal is the same as the rest of the year: for more children to travel rear-facing, safely and for longer. Black Week is our way of making Swedish child safety accessible to more families.

Rear-facing car seats at Black Friday prices

We recommend that your child travels rear-facing for as long as possible, for enhanced protection and a safer journey.

Once your child has outgrown their rear-facing seat, a high back booster seat is the next step. Our booster seats are for children from 100 to 150cm, roughly four to twelve years old, and ensure the car’s seat belt is positioned correctly across the shoulder and hips.

Frequently asked questions about Black Friday at Axkid

When is Black Friday 2026?

Black Friday falls on Friday 27th November 2026. At Axkid, the campaign runs from 2nd November to 1st December and covers all of Black Week, 23–29th November.

Are the car seats just as safe when they’re on sale?

Yes. They’re exactly the same car seats we sell the rest of the year, with the same approvals and test results. The only difference is the price.

Is it worth buying a car seat on Black Friday?

Yes, if you’re going to buy one anyway. A car seat is one of the bigger purchases when you have a child, and during Black Week we lower the price on selected models. Still, choose based on your child’s height and your car, not on which seat has the biggest discount.

Can I return a car seat I bought on Black Friday?

Yes. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal and a 365-day return policy on unopened products in their original packaging.

How long should children travel rear-facing?

We recommend rear-facing for as long as possible, ideally until the age of six or seven. Only switch to forward-facing once your child has outgrown the seat’s height or weight limit, or when their head reaches above the top of the backrest.
