Uniting engineering and technology with a big heart
Ever since the start of Axkid we have taken active decisions to make sure our seats are not only safe in a laboratory, an Axkid seat must also work in the everyday life of an ordinary family. Thats why we already from our very first seat has gone to great lengths in order to build car seats that combines safety, comfort and easy of use.
All our research and development is rooted in a “safety-concept idea” that we first test with real consumers. Based on their feedback we make hundreds of simulations in computers and with help of AI analyze and develop into a physical prototype.
Based in the Swedish safety tradition, we are also firm believers that rear-facing is the safest way to travel. Scientific research has time after time proven this. That is why we build seats that can be used rear-facing for as long as possible.

1. leto
Raziskave in predhodne študije
Naše ideje in koncepte preizkušamo na resničnih uporabnikih z enostavnimi prototipi, da potrdimo, ali lahko dosežemo zastavljene varnostne cilje in uresničimo zamisli.
2. leto
Oblikovanje in digitalni prototipi
Začnemo z razvojem dizajna izdelka in ustvarimo digitalne prototipe, ki jih lahko testiramo z računalniškimi simulacijami. Pri analizi podatkov si pomagamo tudi z umetno inteligenco (AI), kar nam omogoča hitrejše in natančnejše izboljšave že v zgodnji fazi razvoja.
3. leto
Prototipiranje
Fizične prototipe testiramo v dejanskih trkalnih laboratorijih, v sodelovanju z več priznanimi varnostnimi inštituti – med njimi ADAC v Nemčiji in VTI na Švedskem. Tako zagotovimo, da naši izdelki dosegajo najvišje varnostne standarde že v fazi razvoja.
4. leto
Certificiranje in proizvodnja
Poskrbimo, da je novi sedež ustrezno certificiran in pripravljen za proizvodnjo po najvišjih standardih kakovosti in varnosti. Na koncu sedež preizkusimo tudi v najpomembnejših potrošniških testih, kot sta švedski Plus Test in ADAC test, da zagotovimo najvišjo možno raven zaščite za vašega otroka.
