Proven safety

Safety comes first with Minikid Core. The seat is Plus Test approved and certified to UN R129, meeting some of the strictest safety standards. It has also been over-tested with a 2-point vehicle belt and approved to the Swedish Plus Test up to 125cm, ensuring performance under demanding test conditions. Its rear-facing design reduces forces on the neck and spine in frontal collisions, whilst the support leg, adjustable anti-rebound bar and side-impact protection work together to create a stable and protective environment. The anti-rebound bar offers four settings and can be extended to provide additional legroom when needed. With durable construction and well-engineered safety features, it delivers reliable protection in modern vehicles.

Rear-facing safety from birth

Minikid Core is designed to support your child throughout their early years. Approved from 40 to 125cm and up to 28kg, it offers extended rear-facing (ERF) travel from birth to approximately 7 years of age. This is a car seat with an adjustable 8 position headrest, and the included infant insert provides the correct support from the start. As your child grows, the generous seating area and long back length help maintain a comfortable and safe rear-facing position for as long as possible, following the safest recommendations.

Everyday simplicity

Minikid Core is made to simplify your everyday routines. The open and spacious seat design makes it easy to place your child and secure them quickly and safely with the internal harness, whether you are heading out for a short errand or a longer journey.

The seat also offers two recline positions, giving younger children a comfortable sleeping position whilst allowing older children to sit more upright and reduce the space the seat requires in the car.

Fast and secure Installation

This rear-facing car seat is designed for a simple and intuitive installation. The belt installation works with the support leg and adjustable anti-rebound bar to create a stable fit, with no tether strap requirement, making it ideal for families who move the seat between vehicles.

The integrated SafeLock™ system keeps the vehicle belt firmly in place, ensuring a dependable installation in just a few minutes. This combination makes Minikid Core one of the simplest belt-installed rear-facing car seats for cars without ISOFIX, whilst still fitting perfectly in vehicles that do have ISOFIX since it installs with the seatbelt.
