Extended Rear-Facing Safety

Extended rear-facing car seat from approximately 6 months (61 cm) up to 7 years old (125 cm and 36 kg). The 13 adjustable headrest positions and extended back length makes it possible for your child to ride rear-facing for a longer period of time.

Easy Access

The magnetic harness system keeps the straps securely out of the way, making it effortless to place your child into the car seat.

Effortless installation

This extended rear-facing car seat offers a simple 6-step installation process that takes less than 60 seconds. The auto-retracting tethers and integrated belt-locking system ensures a quick and secure set up every time.

CompactFit™

Experience comfort for all passengers with Compact Fit. Minikid 4 Max takes up minimal space in the car, 15 cm less than similar rearward-facing car seats while offering 30 cm legroom. Can be installed in various positions and fits a wide range of cars thanks to its slim design.

Built for comfort

The soft, breathable textiles, adjustable headrest, and 3-step recline ensure your child is comfortable on every journey. The 3-part inlay is easy to adapt as your child grows.

Minikid 4 Max is AGR-certified when used with the Axkid Lumbar Support accessory. This means it has been tested and approved by back health experts for its ergonomic design, ensuring your child sits in a natural, comfortable position with proper back support – making both short trips and long journeys safer and more enjoyable.

Safety beyond standards

The Minikid name stands for high safety standards and extended rear-facing travel. The car seat has undergone extensive testing over many years and has been further developed based on insights from real-life accidents. In addition, it has passed the Swedish Plus Test – one of the most demanding crash tests for child car seats.

BE SEAT SAVVY

Will it fit my car?

All car seats sold in our e-commerce is delivered with a 14 days car-fit guarantee promise. If the seat doesn’t fit in your car we take it back at no cost.

Why does Axkid recommend rear-facing travel?

At Axkid, we recommend rear-facing car seats because they are designed to provide effective protection for a child’s head, neck and spine. In a frontal collision, the forces of the impact are distributed across a larger area of the body, which can help reduce the strain on the child’s neck in particular.*

WHY GO REAR-FACING
